Key Concepts
Before diving in, here are the core building blocks you will work with in Quazzar Space.
Projects
A project is the top-level container for your infrastructure. It groups all related environments, services, servers, networks, and team members together. Most teams create one project per product or business unit.
Environments
Each project contains one or more environments — such as Production, Staging, and Development. Environments let you separate infrastructure by lifecycle stage with independent access controls and configurations.
Services
A service represents an application, microservice, or software component running in your infrastructure. Services track metadata like programming language, repository URL, Jira project, health endpoints, and dependencies on other services.
Servers (Service Floors)
A server (also called a service floor) represents a compute resource — a virtual machine, bare-metal server, or container host. Servers are linked to a cloud provider, region, and zone, and they host your services.
Networks
Networks define the connectivity layer for your infrastructure. Each network has a CIDR block, VLAN ID, gateway, and DNS configuration. Services and servers are attached to networks to map your actual topology.
Groups and Subgroups
Groups let you organize services and servers within an environment into logical categories — by team, function, or architecture layer. Subgroups add a second level of hierarchy when you need finer-grained organization.
Service Map
The service map is an interactive visualization of your entire infrastructure. It shows services, servers, networks, and the dependencies between them — giving you a real-time topology view of your architecture.
